‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton shares photos of her dramatic weight loss

After undergoing bariatric surgery last year, Tammy Slaton proudly displayed her considerable weight loss.

According to the US Sun, the 36-year-old has already shed close to 300 pounds. On Tuesday, she shared a photo of her leaner body on Instagram to show off to her followers.

The reality star was seen in the pictures relaxing outside on a lovely day. Fans were quick to compliment Slaton for looking considerably smaller, even though she still need some support from oxygen tubes.

One person said, “Wow, what a big difference, keep going Tammy,” and another, “I think I speak for everyone when I say WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU,” in response.

Tammy, you proved a lot of us incorrect, I must say. Well done and keep it up! “,” a third person added.

A few days before, Southern Indiana Combat Production, a mixed martial arts organization, shared a number of pictures on Facebook to give followers a clearer view of Slaton’s change.

The TLC star, who once weighed over 700 lbs, was seen standing up in the pictures for the first time in years without the use of a wheelchair.

She was accompanied by her co-star and sister, Amy Slaton, and the two posed for pictures holding up a championship belt.

The abrupt transformation happened after Tammy struggled to reach her target weight to be eligible for bariatric surgery and spent time in a food recovery facility.

On the most recent TLC program, Tammy finally reached the weight cutoff and received approval for the life-saving treatment.

Today, it appears that the reality star’s efforts have been fruitful.

Tammy met Caleb Willingham, who would later become her husband, while she was still recovering from the operation.

In October 2022, after only three weeks of dating, the couple became engaged. One month later, in a private ceremony attended by friends and family, they exchanged vows.

Fans, on the other hand, have since expressed their worries about Willingham’s “creepy” actions, charging that he is “controlling” and “stalking” Tammy.

TLC broadcasts “1000-Lb. Sisters” every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
