In the podcast “Armchair Expert,” presented by actor Dax Shepard, actress Gwyneth Paltrow made emotional revelations. She told about the birth of Apple, which was one of the worst times in her life. After losing her third pregnancy, the actress, now 49, claimed she was on the edge of death.
Gwyneth Paltrow was ready to give birth to her first child 17 years ago, in 2004. No one could have predicted that the occasion that was supposed to be the most romantic of her life would instead turn into a nightmare. When she gave birth to her daughter, Apple, she went through an almost 70-hour labor. In the end, the physicians determined that the actress required an emergency cesarean section. During the operation, the actress and her daughter “almost perished,” she said.

“I underwent two cesarean operations. It was a medical emergency when my daughter was born; it was insane, and I almost died. “It wasn’t good,” the actress stated.
Moses, Paltrow’s 15-year-old son, was also born through cesarean section. Chris Martin, the actress’ ex-husband, has two children, Apple and Moses. Currently, the “Iron Man” actor is also a stepmother to her current husband, Brad Falchuk’s two teenage children.
During the podcast, the actress expressed her gratitude for having completed the two chores before the advent of Instagram. She believes that there is a lot of pressure on moms to revert to their original shapes after giving birth, despite the fact that they have just given birth.

“Thank goodness there was no Instagram when I gave birth because now it’s like ‘I gave birth two weeks ago and my abdomen is completely flat.'” I didn’t appear to be like that. “I mean, it’s lovely, kudos to the lady with a flat tummy,” Paltrow said, “but it’s an exception.”
Furthermore, the actress believes that women are often very concerned about their appearance, as evidenced by social media. They seem to be inundated with visions of what they should look like, which Paltrow dismisses as unrealistic.
“And we’re constantly assaulted with images of what we should look like, whether we’re pregnant or not,” she continued.

The actress also admitted that she feels women should be kinder, more helpful, and tolerant of one another, particularly when it comes to births and babies.
Paltrow also discussed his tight bond with his daughter, who appears to be a leitmotif. Apple does not seek her guidance on “anything,” but they have become great friends because of her fashion sense.
“My daughter now likes my style, which is amazing because she used to think I was a loser,” the actress previously stated.
