Imagine waking up in a strange place with no memory of how you got there, how long you’d been there, or what had happened. That’s exactly what happened to Ellie Farnfield, a 27-year-old woman. She was on the train one moment and then laying on a station bench the next.
Ellie had experienced an unprovoked seizure, which is frightening and causes a lot of anxiety for the victim. When she regained consciousness, though, she discovered something clenched in her palm that provided her comfort.
A small piece of paper was folded neatly in her hands. The note was from a complete stranger, and it provided Ellie with some of the information she needed as well as an explanation of his role in the tragedy… “Tom” was the only signature on the note.
According to the note,
“Hello, Eleanor. I hope you are feeling better by the time you read this. I removed you off the train because you had a seizure. You didn’t hit your head, but I may have damaged your leg when I walked on it before seeing you were throwing a fit on the floor! Sorry! I’m also sad I won’t be able to stay with you right now, but I’ll leave you with a cup of coffee and £10 to ensure you get a taxi home. I’m sorry, but I’m out of money, so I hope you don’t live too far away. I’ve made contact with folks using your phone, and medical assistance is on the way, and you’re with trained personnel. I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery. “I adore Tom.”
Ellie is now using social media to track out Tom. She wants to express her gratitude to the stranger who treated her as if she were a close friend.
Ellie’s chances of reconnecting with Tom are improving as a result of the tremendous positive response!
