A member of the cast of the film Rust has filed a lawsuit against Alec Baldwin.

The inquiry into the catastrophe that occurred on the set of the movie “Rust” is still ongoing. Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer, was killed when Alec Baldwin fired a firearm. Director Joel Souza was shot in the shoulder and badly injured.

Mamie Mitchell, Alec Baldwin’s screenplay supervisor, recently filed a complaint against him. She said that the actor was not required to unload the weapon in any scene in the screenplay. Three close-ups were included in the script, according to her: one in Baldwin’s eyes, one with a bloodstain on his shoulder, and one “when he reached for his holster and pulled out his revolver.”

According to spynews, “there was nothing in the screenplay about the gun that was unloaded by defendant Baldwin or anybody else.”

The film’s producers were also mentioned in the process.

What charges have been leveled against Alec Baldwin?

In her complaint, Mamie Mitchell also alleged that she was not told at all that a firearm was about to be unloaded, which is against basic security regulations. She accuses the actor of failing to check whether the rifle is loaded before discharging it. Mamie Mitchell claims she heard a loud explosion in her ears after Alec Baldwin was fired and was terrified for her life.

“Mr. Baldwin can’t try to justify not examining the pistol personally by hiding behind the deputy director,” Mamie Mitchell said.

This is the second time the incident has been reported. The main electrician on the set of “Rust” sued Alec Baldwin and several members of the cast and crew. He charged the actor for being careless.
