According to reports claimed by Mirror UK, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not visit the UK to spend Christmas with the Queen.
The Queen will be spending her first Christmas without her late husband, Prince Philip. Regina has been dealing with a number of health issues recently. In October, she was admitted to the hospital for one night, and subsequently had to cancel her Remembrance Day plans to owe to back issues.
The Royal Family would have welcomed Harry and Meghan to spend Christmas with them. “There are numerous elements to the logistics and planning of a family Christmas,” a source told Page Six, “so of course the staff already knows Harry and Meghan will not be coming.”
According to the same source: “If he had come, he would have told the family what had happened so far. But, given that this is Her Majesty’s first Christmas without her husband, it’s understandable that the two would want to be present.”
The pair has yet to respond to the rumors that have been circulating in the media. This information comes after it was revealed that Meghan Markle will do an exclusive interview for Ellen DeGeneres’ show, The Ellen Show. Meghan recalls coming to the studios where Ellen’s show is recorded in order to go to auditions for various roles during her career as an actress in a preview of the interview.
