She went to the emergency hospital after giving birth prematurely

Louise Chapman’s second child’s birth was so traumatic that she and her husband have decided not to have any more children. Both the mother and the infant nearly died within weeks of each other due to horrific complications.

Chapman stated, “I don’t think we’re going to have any more children.” “We won’t have anymore because of Olivia’s experience, especially for my spouse. It’s been difficult to deal with anything.”

Chapman died for seven minutes on the operating table after his birth, resulting in a ten-day coma and short-term memory loss. Over and over, the mother had to be reminded that she had ever given birth to her daughter.

She stopped breathing and was unresponsive eight days after the premature kid was well enough to go home. Chapman worried that her daughter would perish as a result of the ordeal.

Chapman and her baby girl’s health was always a priority for Chapman’s family. Take a look at their extraordinary voyage in the video below.

Louise Chapman gave birth weeks before her due date. It wasn’t easy for the 24-year-old mother to give birth.

Chapman’s placenta ruptured, creating bleeding in her womb. Chapman had a terrible reaction to the antibiotics and went into anaphylactic shock during an emergency C-section.

Her heart stopped beating, and she died for seven minutes on the operation table.

Doctors were able to resuscitate Chapman, but only after putting her into a 10-day coma.

The mother was left with short-term memory loss when she awoke.

She had no recollection of ever having a child.

Every ten minutes, nurses had to remind Chapman that she had given delivery.

She would forget about it every time she was reminded.

“I have no recollection of giving birth,” she admitted. “Everything I know is secondhand since my companion Oliver and the medics had to fill me in on everything that transpired.”

“It was quite distressing. I couldn’t do it since it’s so vital for new mothers to bond with their newborns as soon as they’re born.

“They recorded Olivia’s birth date and weight, as well as who had come to see me in case I had forgotten.

“It was wonderful because I was upset every morning because I had forgotten what had happened the day before. As a result, looking through my diary was beneficial to me.”

Chapman’s daughter, Olivia, became gravely ill as she began to heal.

Olivia’s heart had a hole in it. The infant girl ceased breathing only eight days after she was finally brought home.

Before bringing her daughter to the hospital, Chapman performed CPR and saved her life. She was diagnosed with bronchitis and pneumonia.

“I didn’t think she’d make it; there were times when I couldn’t see the bright side,” she remarked.

Olivia was released from the hospital after six weeks in intensive care.

Chapman and her husband have decided not to have any more children since the process was too traumatic for them.

Nonetheless, the family is relieved that their daughter is healing and doing well.

“You’d never know Olivia had been through so much if you met her now – she’s so joyful,” Chapman added.
