What this man did in the hotel room split the internet in two!

The internet is divided over how a man exits his hotel room after checking out – but is it correct or incorrect?

Darren Dowling, also known as ‘Dazza’ to his 157,000 Facebook fans, has shared a controversial snapshot of how he departs his hotel room when on the road.

While some people love the convenience of staying in a hotel and simply rolling out of bed without even making the bed, Dowling is the polar opposite.

The Facebook celebrity, who is best known for his Does it fry? cooking videos shared a photo of a nicely stripped hotel bed, complete with doona cover and pillow coverings.

Dowling stated in the caption: “I usually aim to leave a hotel room in this condition. Is this the correct or incorrect course of action?”

Many people questioned Dowling’s extra efforts in the comments section of the post.

One guy commented, “They literally pay people to do it.”

“This is something I’ve never done before. I never leave the room in a mess, but stripping the bed for them would never occur to me “another has been added.

Many people agreed that the thought had never occurred to them.

While it’s usual politeness to give your hotel room a once-over before leaving, stripping the bed seems like an unnecessary step.

However, the shot was deemed a class act by the majority of Dowling’s followers.

“You have no clue how much things like these are appreciated until you have worked in hotel housekeeping. Because you have time goals to meet in each space, this is a huge aid. Exceptional individual, “a single person wrote

“It’s the proper course of action. It’s a difficult job, and you’ve just made it a little bit simpler for them “Another follower chimed in.

Many in the sector offered additional advice for potential stayers.

“This is class, in my opinion as a hotel manager. I believe there is no need to fold things so perfectly that they might be thrown in a pile on the floor. However, visitors like you make our lives a little simpler “a single individual wrote

“That’s nice; as a former maid, I too like to set all wet and dirty towels in a corner…” said a second user.

While many argued that hotel cleaners were ‘paid’ to do their jobs, Dowling countered, “The police are paid to prevent murders, but that doesn’t go well does it?”
