On a hot day, Elysia was playing quietly in the yard when she noticed something strange in the grass.

“I only saw some pink legs,” Elysia said.

The girl thought that maybe it was a doll forgotten in the grass, but when she approached she realized that it was not a doll, because it was moving, it was alive.

Then she thought maybe it was a piglet because her family lives on a farm and raises pigs and other animals.

But when she looked closer, the girl immediately called her mother.

Elysia and her mother approached and had a shock! There was an abandoned newborn baby in the grass. A little girl. She was naked, with her umbilical cord and placenta next to her. Being very hot outside, the baby’s skin was burned by the sun.

They immediately took her to the nearest hospital. At a first examination, the doctor finds that the girl is healthy and safe from any danger. It seems that the little girl was abandoned the night before, so she had spent the night in the yard of Elysa’s family, alone, vulnerable, without any help.

The police were notified and the search began to find the biological mother. Until then, the newborn is in a foster home.

Her luck was that she was found by Elysia and so she could be saved.
