A once-in-a-lifetime situation aboard an Air Mauritius flight! After hearing noises that sounded like a child’s sobs, the flight crew discovered an unexpected find in the plane’s bathroom. They contacted the authorities as soon as they landed!
In the plane’s toilet, there were screams.
On January 1, 2022, during a flight operated by Air Mauritius, the crew made a tragic discovery. After hearing the sobs of a child multiple times, airline staff conducted a standard examination of the aircraft’s toilet. They were taken aback when they discovered a newborn baby in the toilet, abandoned by his mother. Of course, everyone is asking how a lady could give birth to a kid in a plane’s bathroom and no one would notice.
The fact that no one on the plane “claimed” their child is even weirder. When they arrived at the airport, however, authorities detained a 20-year-old woman and took her to the hospital for a normal check-up, where it was confirmed whether she was the mother of the infant abandoned in the toilet of the aircraft.
As soon as the jet landed at Mauritius’ Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport, the baby was transported to an emergency room. Thankfully, the infant is no longer in danger and is receiving the care he requires. The police are keeping an eye on the young woman in question until a link between her and the newborn baby can be established. She currently denies giving birth to the boy and, as a result, insists that she be removed from the hospital as quickly as possible.
