Sinead O’Connor launches harsh accusations after her 17-year-old son committed suicide

“My darling son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the light of my life, chose to leave this world tonight, and he is now with God. Let him rest in peace, and no one should follow in his footsteps. My little one. I adore you to death. “Please be at peace,” the singer said on Twitter.

According to the artist, his kid was admitted to the hospital and placed under supervision for a “suicide attempt.” He ran away from the medical center and was last seen in Tallaght, Dublin, on Friday morning.

Sinead O’Connor, in a series of tweets, chastised Irish authorities, particularly the HSE (Irish Health Service) and Tusla (Child and Family Protection Agency), for refusing to “accept responsibility” and claiming that “too many children die under their care.”

“Tusla or their representatives have not contacted me yet, 26 hours after my son died under the so-called care of the Irish state, as represented by Tusla. Gardai notified me of my son’s death, and I then spoke with the LAG. It’s inexcusable that Tusla hasn’t contacted me “, the singer wrote.

“May God pardon the Irish state,” she concluded, “for I will never do that.”

“Now Tusla wants to talk to me for a press release,” O’Connor said in another post, “no doubt she wants me to assist their efforts to make this killing of my child look like it was not the hand of the Irish state.”

“I’m going to take some time to grieve for my son. When I’m ready, I’ll explain how the Irish state, in the form of Tusla and HSE, permitted and assisted his death “, the artist came to a conclusion.

According to a representative for the UK government’s health and safety agency HSE, “The HSE is unable to comment on specific situations where this may divulge information about identifiable individuals, in violation of our ethical obligation to maintain confidentiality.”
