Miracles really do exist!
They thought they hit the biggest fish ever. But when they took the catch, it was actually a bag. What they found in the bag shocked them and no one thought it was a coincidence …
On August 10, Ben Meyers’ grandfather and 11-year-old grandson Kevin went fishing on Lake Hartwell, South Carolina.
They stayed for a few hours without catching anything and agreed that they would stay for a maximum of another hour, after which they would gather and go home. In the last 10 minutes, the nephew shouts to his happy grandfather to come and help him catch a huge fish.
They struggled for 10 minutes to get the fish out, when in fact they caught something that looked like a bag,
When they took her ashore, Ben was convinced it was a treasure, because the bag looked very old, but what he didn’t know was that they were holding a 25-year-old mystery.
Eagerly they quickly opened the bag and were surprised that the objects in it remained untouched by the water. They thought they might have been dumped recently, but after reading a few papers and finding some documents, they realized that everything there was part of another century.
They continued to rummage around and came across all kinds of old make-up, mirror, cigarettes but also a lot of pictures. Although he did not recognize the people in the pictures, a name seemed very familiar to him, namely April Bolt.
At first, he thought it could not be the same person, an old friend of his.
However, he decided to look for her and ask her, although he was firmly convinced that there could be no such coincidence.
When they reached her door and saw this bag, she instantly burst into tears. ”I thought I had lost her forever. I do not believe.”
Apparently, 25 years ago, April had gone out to dinner with her husband and hid in her bag in the boat, but on her return, she could not find her.
The woman thanked Ben and told him that the only pictures of her baby were in that bag and that was why it was so important to her.
This incident changed the lives of many people and taught his grandfather and nephew that what must happen anyway will happen sooner or later.
