The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were traveling to The Hague for the Invictus Games when they stopped in the UK, according to their spokeswoman.
The two paid each other a visit just days before Queen Elizabeth’s 96th birthday.
At Windsor Castle, Prince Charles, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry, as well as Queen Elizabeth, met.
Meghan and Harry chose not to bring their children to the palace for their brief visit. As a result, Regina was unable to meet Lilibet, her 10-month-old niece, or see Archie, her nephew, this time.

The Dukes of Sussex is said to have spent the night at their Frogmore Cottage mansion. Princess Eugenie, Harry’s cousin, resides there with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their son, August.
“As I previously stated, we can confirm that they paid a visit to the duke’s grandmother,” he said. “On their route to The Hague, where they will compete in the Invictus Games, they went via the United Kingdom.”
Despite a security dispute between Harry and the government, the two Dukes of Sussex paid a visit to the United Kingdom. The prince argues that neither his wife nor his children are safe in the United Kingdom. As a result, he felt forced to request greater security and was even willing to pay more for it, but he was turned down.
Last year, Harry paid a visit to the royal family’s palace to attend a ceremony to dedicate a statue to his mother, Princess Diana. Meghan Markle, on the other hand, has not visited the United Kingdom since she and Prince Harry renounced their royal obligations and declared their discontent in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. Harry’s relationship with his father, Prince Charles, weakened as a result of this occurrence and the words made in the interview.
On April 21, Queen Elizabeth will turn 96 years old.
