Bullying happens a lot more frequently than we may ever think. The unfortunate fact is that schools—places where kids should feel protected and secure—are where it happens most frequently.
Bullying had affected a youngster named Jonathan, and it persisted for a very long period. He was brutally beaten one day. Due to his autism, it appears that the pupils at his school find it challenging to accept him as a buddy. Instead, they mock him and call him terrible names.
One day, he was on the bus when a child walked up to him and began calling him fat and stupid.

To avoid listening to the bully, Jonathan put on headphones and continued with his day. But things significantly worsened on the bus journey home.
Jonathan was assaulted by a fellow pupil. He left bruises on his face, cracked his lip, and damaged his spectacles.
Because of his autism, Jonathan struggles with self-control. However, he made a lot of people happy that day. He didn’t respond in kind.
A crew of firefighters from the nearby station contacted Jonathan at the time of the occurrence, called his mother, and drove him home.

Jonathan was so at ease on the journey that he opened up to the firefighters about his health issues and his career goals.
The firefighters drove away after dropping him off at home. But Jonathan was unaware that it wouldn’t be the final time he would run across his heroes.
Jonathan received a great surprise that same evening when a few strangers appeared in his front yard.
He was overjoyed to learn that they were the firefighters who had earlier assisted him. For him, they had some brand-new sneakers.

The firefighters told Jonathan, “That’s all for you for being such a terrific child, for maintaining your cool, for not losing it, and for being the better person.”
To his tormentor, Jonathan himself had a message:
“I want to let that student know that I’m sorry and that I’d like to be his friend. After our conversation yesterday, my mom and I decided to ask the student who did this to join us for dinner so he could see that we are not different simply because we are different-looking.

We can all take inspiration from Jonathan and benefit greatly from his compassionate nature. The kindness shown to him by the firefighters made me believe that Jonathan will succeed in life.
Jonathan tells what happened in this video, and we also get to meet some of the brave firefighters that came to his aid.
Jonathan truly is a hero! Please spread the word about this story to praise the firefighters for their kind deeds and to let the world know what good-hearted youngsters they are.
