There have been many strange stories about people who have found bizarre things in their bodies. Some didn’t even know they had a bullet in them, a man didn’t know he had a plant growing in his lungs! However, I think this is the strangest of all.
Shreya Darji is a little girl from Deesa, Gujarat, India, whose parents thought she had a simple ear irritation, however, the doctors were shocked to find a nest of hundreds of ants in her head!
Shreya began to feel irritated in August 2015, when she went to the hospital, several ultrasounds were performed to find out the truth about her health. According to Dr. Jawahar Talsania, all showed that the girl had no problem. The ants’ bites did not hurt her and her eardrum was not severely damaged.
Doctors could not identify the cause of this strange infestation because her family lived in a very healthy environment. The doctor thought he could kill the ants with drops, but that didn’t stop them from multiplying. Whenever she went to school, ants would come out of the girl’s ear, and her classmates would tease her.
She is a good student, and her father does everything possible to help her. Let’s hope Shreya recovers completely!
