This woman suffered a terrible motorcycle accident

The sad story of a woman from North America went around the world. Gemma Holmes, lived at the age of 28 a very unpleasant event that would change her whole life. While riding the motorcycle, a car entered it and it was thrown into a pole.
What followed was a dark period for her and very difficult to pass. He arrived at the hospital with minimal chances of survival because he had serious injuries to his entire body. She underwent a lot of surgery, after which she went into a coma for the next 3 months.
To everyone’s surprise, she woke up and managed to get through all the surgeries. After waking up, the doctors did not know how to tell him what they had discovered. Gemma had to make a radical decision at a rather fragile time. She found out that there was a foreign object in her and that in fact, this object was a child.
There were some confusing moments for her because she didn’t remember anything from the last three years, not even who the child’s father was or who she was.
She had to decide whether to have an abortion or give birth by cesarean section but without anesthesia because her health did not allow her to use this substance. Her decision shocked everyone. She decided to give birth, although there was a high risk of dying during the operation.
”This baby was given to me for a reason. If he survived the accident, it means he must be born. He is my miracle and maybe my chance at a normal life “- she confesses.
Although she knew that some terrible pain was coming, Gemma decided to fight for her child with her own life. With the minimum of medication, the doctors managed to successfully complete the cesarean section.
The child was born and named Ruben. Although other operations followed for Gemma after the birth, the baby gave her strength, and managed to get through it all.
