Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the British royal family congratulated Prince Harry and his wife Meghan on Sunday night for the birth of their little girl.
“The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter,” a Buckingham Palace spokesman said in a statement.

Congratulations from Boris Johnson. A message of congratulations also came from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, on social media: “Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the birth of their daughter.”

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan announced on Sunday the birth of their second child, a little girl named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The girl was born on Friday, at 11.30, at a hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

The newborn girl is the eighth in the order of succession to the throne.
Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have another 2-year-old child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
