While my child was eating, I noticed that one of the eyes had an unusual color. I asked him to come over and tried to wipe it off thinking it was dirty but it was actually a bruise. After a few days, I went to the doctor, and then my life changed. ”Here is what the doctors said
Claire is 35 years old and has a child she raises on her own named Charlie. This was a child very much wanted by her and she is 4 years old.
One day, while she was eating, she noticed her child eating as she kept touching his eyes.
When she sat down at the table, she noticed that her right eye was a different color. The child approached, tried to wipe it, thinking it was dirty, and he said it hurt. He found that it was a bruise that he probably did while playing. The child said it didn’t hurt very much
The days passed and Claire noticed that the bruise did not pass and even spread a little. The child didn’t eat much and was getting paler and paler, so he decided to go with him to the doctor for a checkup.
Doctors did several investigations but were unable to find a diagnosis.
For a month, the little boy’s condition kept getting worse and Claire was desperate because she didn’t even know what the little one might have.
After long investigations and many analyzes, Charlie finally received a diagnosis. This diagnosis would radically change their lives. Doctors told Claire that her little child was suffering from a very rare form of cancer.
“I felt the sky fall on me when the doctors told me the diagnosis. Charlie never had a health problem, not even a slight cold. It all happened far too quickly but I know I have to fight for his survival and we will overcome this disease.
It is not easy especially to see him suffer but I hope that God will give us strength and help us move forward “- says the grieving mother.
Charlie is undergoing treatment, responds quite well to him, and has reached the stage of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, it is quite painful for him, but the little one does not let himself be beaten. People helped him, donated blood because the little one needed 37 blood transfusions so far.
