Kylie was losing her battle with cancer, but before she died she asked her family to have a cat. No one could have imagined what impact a kitten would have on their daughter and the whole family! Read on, it’s a truly miraculous story!
Here’s what the girl’s mother, Robin Myers, says: “I’ve heard people describe animals as angels. I never understood what they meant until kitten Eliza met Kylie. ”
When Eliza, the cat, arrived in Los Angeles, she was very ill and lived in an animal shelter, it was just skin and bone. Here is what the people at the shelter said: “I healed her and she was waiting for someone to take her home forever, but then I received a very sad phone call. A beautiful girl named Kylie had cancer and just when the treatment was over and they thought she would recover, cancer came back. ”
The girl wanted a cat the most, she wanted to hold it in her arms before she died, and that kitten happened to be Eliza. The family did not plan to adopt a cat, the shelter took her there as a loan, just to make Kylie’s wish come true in her last two days on this earth.
The girl’s mother confesses: “The cat was completely devoted to my daughter. It had one purpose and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, the two of them together. ”
After Kylie died, Eliza remained in the girl’s family. My mother says: “When I started to cry, Liza, from wherever she was in the house, would come and lie on my lap and wait there until my anger passed. I’ve never had a cat, cats seem so connected to what I needed emotionally. Kylie told me to take care of Eliza, but it’s like she whispered to Eliza to take care of me too. ”
