He saw his wife in the crib with his daughter when he came home.

Matt and Dyana have known each other since childhood, over time their feelings evolved until the two came to form a family, and in their family appeared a little miracle named Luella, their little girl.

Recently Dyana posted on Facebook made by her husband in which she sleeps next to their daughter. The picture is accompanied by a story so emotional that I shuddered when I read it. It has changed something in me, I hope it will change something in you too.

“It happened a few days ago. Our daughter Luella had her first teeth coming out and she was crying a lot. I lay down next to her to calm her down and soon fell asleep together…

I woke up when Matt had already come home. He looked worried and had tears in his eyes. I was scared then, but he immediately explained to me that everything was fine, he was just excited when

he saw me with our daughter and realized how much he loves us. Unwittingly, we reminded him of a story that our clergyman had told us.

That happened on one of those days when we left Luella at home and went to church. After the service, we talked to the pastor, who told us about a case he saw in an orphanage in Uganda.

As a missionary, he often visited boarding schools and orphanages in different parts of the world, but there was a special atmosphere in the Ugandan orphanage. He was amazed by the “screaming” silence when he first entered the huge room with about a hundred cribs in which they were babies…

In such a room, normally, one always hears someone crying, but they’re absolutely everyone was silent…

The priest asked someone why all the children were so strange and the answer that followed was etched in his mind forever. When they arrive at the orphanage, all the children cry incessantly. He expresses his pain by shouting and calling on his parents for help. But after a week, they all calm down. I understand that no one needs them anymore and there is no one to comfort them.

Peace is a sign of despair in the souls of the little ones. The children understand that no one will come to pick them up, maybe never…

This story shook us. We promised never to ignore our children’s cries. Even when she whines during the night, no matter how tired I am, I go to reassure Luella.

Matt understood everything without words when he saw me in the crib with Luella. He made dinner while I slept. When I woke up, he hugged me tightly and said, “I love you more than anything on this earth.”

If Diana’s story made your heart beat faster, share it with your friends.
