Yankee had come to hate his homeless dog living on the streets of Los Angeles. A few neighbors fed him food for years, but no one was ever able to take him home.
One day, neighbors noticed that the Yankee had collapsed in an alley and had stopped moving, although he was conscious. This worried everyone and they decided to turn to an animal rescue association to come to their aid.
In the video below, we can see the rescuers of “Hope For Paws” watching Yankee and wondering if the quadruped is injured or sick. But the moment they want to put the lucky leash on him, the Yankee gets up and retreats to a wall to avoid rescuers. Then the rescue team realizes the dog’s heartbreaking state – the poor animal had grown tired of life on the streets and had simply lost the desire to live.
The rescuers convince the Yankee to follow them to the car.
At the veterinary clinic, it was confirmed that the Yankee is quite healthy and only needs a lot of care and love to cope with his depressed condition. After thinking about the future of this fragile dog, rescuers decide to temporarily transfer him to a foster home.
Rescuers had high hopes for the quadruped, but they would never have expected the boy in the temporary family to heal the broken heart of the dog as he did! The boy’s pure love motivated the dog to find his zest for life again and to turn into a loving dog. After this video went viral, Yankee found his own home forever! This baby is definitely a miracle worker for depressed dogs!
