The abused dog wakes up the woman who saved her in the middle of the night and makes an incredible gesture

Niya is a puppy who had a sad and unjust start in life. She was severely abused and then abandoned by the one who had to take care of her and love her. Fortunately, he arrived at the Gibson County Animal Shelter in Trenton, Tennessee.

Animal shelters can be terrifying places, but it’s better than being in a house with an owner who doesn’t love them or going hungry on the streets.

Even though Niya was safe at the time, she was deeply depressed and terrified of everything around her! Then an angel named Kimberley Slown appeared in her life. From the moment he saw Niya, the woman knew he had to help her. Slown had also collaborated with Arrow Dog Rescue, a wonderful organization that deals with the rehabilitation and relocation of dogs to permanent families. Slown knew Niya needed help as soon as possible!

The poor puppy had a large cut above her left eye and one above her nose. The one on the nose probably came from a metal box used as a muzzle. When Slown came to pick up Niya from the shelter, she didn’t move, so she had to be carried to the car. Niya kept her tail between her legs all the time.

As soon as she arrived at Slown’s house, the puppy sat in a corner and did not move from there. She slept all day and all night, and when she awoke she was still frozen, too frightened to interact with anyone. The situation was quite bleak.

Then something incredible happened.
The next night, Slown witnessed a truly overwhelming experience. Slown was sleeping in her room when she suddenly felt a warm breath in her palm. It was none other than Niya!

“He was breathing in my palm and I woke up. Then I immediately paid attention to her, stroking her and talking to her, “Slown said. “She seemed to smile at me and sit down next to me.”

A little later, Niya withdrew, but after a few moments, she returned, wanting to thank the rescuer again. “I was just so impressed. I was crying, ”Slown recalls.

The dog, who until recently had come to distrust no one, had begun to see that there was still hope, that it was still possible to have a good life! And he knew exactly who to thank.

Now all Niya has to do is recover completely! It is a great joy to know that the poor puppy has finally found her dream home!
