Fortunately, there are still people, true angels, who save the abused animals and give them the help they need. We often don’t think about how hard it must be when confronted for the first time with a poor animal in distress.

That is why the next rescue is a tribute to all the animal lovers who help these stray dogs every day.

Some animals are so severely abused that many think they can be frightening at first; however, many of these animals are often temperamental.

When a rescuer confronted a stray dog with a scarred body, she didn’t have much time to think, she just knew she had to act fast to save him.

The Redlands area of Orlando, Florida, is the name given to a vacant lot known as the preferred location for abandoning unwanted animals.

Every day, the rescue organization, the Redland Rock Pit Abandoned Dog Project, brings food to this location to quench the hunger of stray animals.

These true angels among the animals carry about 350 kilograms of food every day for the more than 100 stray dogs that are struggling to survive in that area.

One day, Natalie Oliveri, the president of Furever Bully Love Rescue in Orlando, was on the ground helping the rescue organization mentioned above to feed the animals, at which point she had the opportunity to meet Harper, another stray dog.

Harper was with a group of other dogs, but he fell to the ground when he saw Natalie.

An experienced quadrupedal caregiver, Natalie admitted that Harper was traumatized, and noticing all the scars on her body, she knew she couldn’t leave him there.

Harper was rushed to the vet and treated for worms, dental infections, and anemia. Besides, life on the square had weakened him so much that poor Harper had run out of power.

Natalie confessed that for three days Harper did not move much, during which time the medical staff treated him with much love and attention.

Thanks to the good people who take care of him, Harper gets better every day and is a much happier dog.

Thanks to everyone for saving this beautiful quadruped. Harper deserves a loving home and family, and it certainly won’t be long before his dream comes true.
