This is also the case of David Hulley, 25, from Stockport, England, who became a father for the second time a few weeks ago.

When David fell asleep holding four-week-old Karson Winter-Hulley in his arms, he thought the baby was safe. In an interview with The Sun, the father said, “It seemed to me that he had calmed down and wanted to fall asleep. I stroked him while the bottle was warming him, I admired him and I was fascinated by him “.
“He fell asleep, and I sat down with him on the couch. I didn’t lie down, I just leaned against the back of the couch, and he was in my arms. Then I fell asleep. ”
The moment he realized
Two hours later, David woke up on the couch with the baby still in his arms. He immediately realized that something was wrong because Karson was no longer moving. Despite David’s best efforts, the boy did not react.
David immediately panicked.
“I ran upstairs and told Beverly I thought something was wrong with him. Beverly tried to kiss his mouth, but she didn’t feel anything. I immediately called an ambulance and the paramedics tried to resuscitate him. ”
The couple immediately went to the hospital in an attempt to save their child. However, everything turned out in vain; the four-week-old baby was already dead.
The doctors’ message
The doctors, unfortunately, could not help him. Karson suffered from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and no one knew why. According to the Newborn Care Guide, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is a controversial medical condition that suddenly occurs and whose exact causes doctors fail to detect.
This is reinforced by David’s testimony, which confirms that little Karson showed no signs of worry the night he died.
Anatomical pathologist Melanie Newbold said: “He was a pretty young child for his age. He had no injuries or any external signs and was perfectly normal. He showed signs of a common cold but was fine when he died. ”
