Two inseparable dogs are looking for a family: the sister is deaf and almost blind, while the brother is her guide.

Even in the animal kingdom, there are examples of reciprocal affection and solidarity that sometimes go far beyond what we humans are capable of. These two canines appear to be like any other relationship, but a closer look reveals that the female has a disability that prevents her from living life to the fullest: she is deaf and nearly blind. His name is Star, and his younger brother’s name is Denver; the latter assists her at all times, providing all of the support and courage she requires. Star is only able to live a normal quadruped life because of Denver.

These two adorable 3-month-old puppies arrived at the Helen Woodward Animal Center shelter after a rocky start that could have defined their lives for the rest of their lives. Things could have turned out very terribly if two good-hearted people hadn’t seen six abandoned chicks and their mother in a rural Louisiana location. All of the puppies were cared for by the couple until they regained their strength, following which they were given to a shelter.

Except for Denver and Star, all of the puppies were adopted once they arrived safely at the HWAC shelter in San Diego, California. Unfortunately, no one considered these two inseparable brothers for a double adoption!

Denver acts as a tour guide for the Star, playing with her and assisting her when he suspects she is lost. When Star enters a new and uncharted location, he begins to stroll carefully, one paw in front of the other, as though charting the area. Denver keeps a careful eye on her and is always willing to lend a hand if she needs it.

The two siblings have formed a particular bond: two inseparable puppies who will hopefully soon be adopted by a loving family.
