Doctors told them to give up the adoption process – the reason is tragic
Adoption is a process that involves a lot of patience and a clear mind because this decision is a new chapter in a book that future adoptive parents are about to write. Because it is a decision that influences a person’s life, this process involves many checks for the child to receive everything necessary for growth, love, education, and any kind of support. Adoption is becoming more popular nowadays and this is really gratifying if we think that these children get a chance at a better life. A family went through difficult moments in the adoption process, due to some medical complications that appeared along the way.

To find the loved one with whom to spend the rest of your life, with good and bad, is with a unique feeling, not being able to be described in words. The thought of having that man with you, with whom you share all your experiences, makes you feel special and strong. Allison and Josh Lewis are among those people who managed to find each other early and stay together, even though they went through many obstacles, they strengthened their relationship. They met in high school, and have been together ever since.

The two have been married for 20 years, but this story is 5 years old, from the time when the two decided to raise the family and start, for the second time, another adoption process. Allison and Josh had five children at the time that made their days much more beautiful, but they felt they wanted more. A baby was about to be born and the two began the adoption process, they were extremely happy. Shortly before the birth, the doctor informed them that the little girl would be born with serious health problems and that she would not be able to live long. Even though they had reasons to cancel the adoption, the two decided to continue.

Little Ava was born on November 24, 2014, and the two parents had a surprise. Ava also had a twin who was born perfectly healthy. Both parents and their children felt blessed when they saw that their family had married two members, they felt at the height of their happiness, and they knew that if God prepared this surprise for them, they would be able to cope.

Even though little Ava spent much of her early life in the hospital due to severe brain problems, her new family was always by her side, making her “stay” on this earth as pleasant as possible, so that she could feel love and the warmth of a family. Little Ava passed away in May 2015, but in these months she made a happy family, bringing peace and love. As Allison said, Ava is now in the light and that makes her feel wonderful and at the same time, at peace. If you liked this story, share it with your loved ones!
