If you’re scared, you feel your whole body tremble. If you have severe pain, shout your torment out loud. And if sadness invades you, tears will flow from your eyes without you being able to control them. Unfortunately, many still do not realize that animals also feel everything: joy, sadness, warmth, cold, anxiety, and stress.
Cows, for example, are exceptional animals, gentle giants able to display their emotions in different ways. Their intelligence shows that they can remember things for a long time. They interact socially in a very complex way, develop friendships and also have the ability to remember the unhappy experiences of other smiles of their own.
A photographer managed to capture this aspect, which may not have been analyzed in detail in animals. In some of the pictures, the cows can be seen showing affection and caressing each other. This is after one of them was chosen to be sacrificed.
The photo below reveals a sad and cruel reality. A reality we are not fully aware of when we eat the meat of these animals.
Among them is the one carrying a sack covering her eyes, as a sign that she was chosen to die that day… While two other cows were beside her, separated by a wall, trying to comfort her.
You can clearly see the pain and the feeling of pressure among this trio of animals. No wonder the images quickly went viral on social media.
As a result of their publication, this professional photographer quickly gathered over 2,300 likes and dozens of comments from users. They were then sensitized by the sad fate that awaited the poor animal.
In the rest of the sequences in this series of photographs, several cows can be seen, but also a few sheep whose fate has also been sealed.
After viewing these images, we emphasize the ability of these animals to feel what is happening to them, as well as the consumer’s need to be informed. Consume responsibly and take this into account when buying.
When we think of the animal world, we often exclude and underestimate their ability to have feelings.
However, feelings and emotions are common to all species and are nothing but indisputable proof of intelligence.
