They were so small and could do nothing to take care of themselves. The owner preferred to let them find their end rather than take them to a shelter … But look what one of the puppies is doing to save his brother

Northeast Animal Rescue is an animal rescue group operating in several small and poor provinces in China. The lack of veterinary offices has led to the uncontrolled multiplication of quadrupeds and implicitly to the increase in the number of abandoned specimens, leaving these poor beings vulnerable to hunger and disease. The group usually visits these small settlements to feed or rescue stray dogs.

During one of these visits, a volunteer named Fiona found an alone puppy waiting on the steps of an abandoned house with a helpless expression on its face. The puppy lit up, feeling a sense of hope when he saw the friendly woman and began to run and lead her to the top of the stone steps.

Fiona followed the puppy, thinking he was taking her to his mother, siblings, or a four-legged friend. She followed him until the puppy stopped and introduced him to his only brother. Fiona had no idea what had happened to the rest of her family, but she knew she had to save these helpless brothers who lived in indescribable misery.

Fiona named the chicks Rocky and Buddy and took them to the shelter.

They were happy to receive medicine baths for the first time. They soon began learning socializing tactics from Fiona. The puppies were happy to finally have a safe place to grow and thrive in a loving environment!

Due to limited resources, it is extremely difficult for Northeast Animal Rescue to save all dogs. Therefore, they focus mainly on rescuing young, injured, sick, and at-risk dogs, who would not otherwise be able to defend themselves.

Fortunately, there are also some kind-hearted locals who get involved and take care of the dogs from time to time. Despite their needy lives, they share the little food they have with poor animals and help them lead a life as close to normal as possible.
