Eva, a pit bull puppy, was ecstatic about her regular trip to a dog grooming salon in Queens because she’d get new hair and a new look. She had no idea, however, that this trip would be the beginning of a sad journey. Her owner abandoned her in the grooming salon, and she spent the next three years there.
His building manager, according to Eva’s owner, no longer allows him to have the dog in his flat. Rather than finding her a new home or a shelter, he left her with the groomers, claiming she was only going to be there for a short time.
Eva had been living in a small cubicle for the previous three years, with little to look forward to except the occasional visit from her owner. The visits and payments for her boarding came to an end after that.
The groomers have done everything they can to care for Eva since she was ab4nd0ned, including feeding her, walking her, and even getting her vaccinated. Time and resources, however, are limited. Employees will spend time with her during their breaks, but she is left alone in the basement at night. As a result, when the shop reopens the next day, Eva is always excited to see her groomers.
When animal enthusiast Sam Taylor first heard about Eva from a friend, he couldn’t believe the nearly 4-year-old dog had spent her entire existence in this manner. As a result, he decided to assist her in finding a forever home with loving people who will adore her unconditionally.
“Despite her tragedy, Eva is as nice as can be,” Taylor added, “quiet, patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant.” It’s difficult to comprehend what would cause someone to abandon such a special puppy.”
Eva’s secluded existence has deprived her of the opportunity to develop proper social skills. “She’s experiencing so much for the first time,” Taylor added. “She’s not sure how to react around other animals, but she’s fantastic with people – she’s really nice and docile.” When she’s walked, however, she’s full of energy and puppy instinct. She simply hasn’t got the opportunity to be a dog.”
Taylor and his pals contacted animal rescue organizations, but none of them had room for Eva. They’re now looking for Eva’s forever home, where she’ll be loved, cared for, and taught how to be a dog.
Please help Eva find a home by sharing this story with her friends and family! She is deserving of a family who will love her and provide her with the greatest life possible. Please email rescueeva@gmail.com or message Sam Taylor on Instagram if you are interested in rescuing or adopting Eva.
