A California man has paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to rescue the life of a threatened woman. He was presented with an exceedingly difficult choice in order to bring her back safely, and he chose to die. His story has gone viral throughout the world, and his relatives and acquaintances are still reeling from the catastrophe.
Joaquin Romero worked as a zip line operator in the Indian reservation “La Jolla in Pauma Valley” and was 34 years old. A regular day at work, on the other hand, would put an end to his life after he died trying to save a woman. The hero seemed to have planned to assist her in removing a zip wire before it plummeted into the emptiness and landed on the ground. He grasped the woman’s harness to save her from slipping, but he was pulled along with her on the line, and they both ended up dangling tens of meters over the earth. He eventually let go because the rope couldn’t support them both.

The doctors were powerless to help the hero.
Ambulances and medical workers were on the site right away, and the man was sent to the hospital. Despite the fact that doctors did everything they could to save his life, he died there. According to medics in San Diego, Joaquin Romero died on Saturday as a result of the impact’s multiple “severe injuries.”
“We are also devastated by the tragic tragedy in which one of our colleagues from Zipline La Jolla Zip Zoom was involved,” Romero’s former employer said.
Investigators are currently working to figure out what caused the accident. Even if there is no suspect and witnesses have detailed accounts of Joaquin Romero’s self-sacrifice for the woman in distress, further information is needed.
“Given the circumstances of the accident, detectives are working with federal and state authorities to undertake a complete and comprehensive investigation.” We will not be able to share any additional information about this occurrence until the inquiry is completed. Join us in praying for the Romero family.”

On October 30, Joaquin Romero, 34, was working at La Jolla Zip Zoom Zipline when a woman he was harnessing went off the platform.
When Romero valiantly grabbed her harness to keep her from falling, he slid onto the line with her and died tragically after falling 70 feet.

When the woman explorer slid off the platform and onto the zipline, she was only half belted in.

THE MOST EXTREME SACRIFICE
When Romero first grasped the woman’s harness, they were around 100 feet in the air, but his weight caused them to slip further down the line.
According to the New York Post, Romero was terrified that their combined weight would force the line to shatter, so he sacrificed himself by letting go and plummeted 70 feet to the ground.
He was taken to a hospital, but he died two days later from the blunt force injuries he endured.
DESTINATION FOR TRAVELERS
The zipline, which launched in 2015 on the La Jolla Indian Reservation, has 2,700 feet of ziplines that allow riders to reach speeds of up to 55 mph.
The La Jolla reserve in California has been a tourist destination since the 1930s, when the La Jolla Band of Luiseo Indians created the campground, according to the La Jolla Zip Zoom website.
The zipline was the area’s newest attraction, but it’s been temporarily closed following Romero’s death and an investigation into what happened.
“We are devastated and heartbroken by the recent tragic tragedy involving one of our employees at the La Jolla Zip Zoom Zipline,” said Norma Contreras, head of the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians.
“Like any other employer, we take pride in providing a safe working environment for our employees as well as a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.”
The zip line was the area’s newest attraction, but it’s currently closed due to Romero’s tragic death.
