Authorities are called to the child selling “Ice Cold Beer,” but they are amused by his ingenious sign.

There are some people who are just naturally endowed with a good head for business. This, in conjunction with a determined attitude, a willingness to take calculated risks and put one’s abilities to the test in order to make greater use of those abilities, is the formula for success.

There is a young kid in Utah named Seth who is only 11 years old, but he has already launched a business, and his marketing plan has recently left many people speechless.

It so happened that instead of putting up a lemonade stand, he made the decision to sell something else, so he moved closer to the sidewalk while holding a sign that read: “Ice Cold Beer.”

Nonetheless, there were many who thought it was adorable and complimented him on starting a business. On the other hand, there were those who were concerned that a juvenile was selling beer, so they contacted the authorities.

In no time at all, a couple officers made their way to Seth’s stand, and rather than reprimanding him, they had a good chuckle at his expense.

It turned out that this young entrepreneur was selling root beer, but the word “root” was written in much smaller green letters than the letters that made up the word “beer.”

The individuals who worked for the Brigham City Police Department thought that Seth’s poster sign was an outstanding example of effective advertising. To tell you the truth, not every child is capable of accomplishing something like that.

As soon as the story appeared online, readers couldn’t resist the need to share their thoughts on it.

HE’S SAVY, NEAT AND CLEAN! EXERCISING LOTS OF EFFORT AND CONSIDERING WHAT WILL WIN OVER THE GENERAL PUBLIC… HE CAN GO ANYWHERE WITH THAT MINDSET! AND HE ALREADY HAS MENTORING, THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL POLICE OFFICERS THAT ARE PART OF THAT COMMUNITY THAT IS SUPPORTING HIM!!! LOVE THIS! ONE PERSON WROTE.

Nonetheless, the police department did not concur with the sentiment that the person who phoned the police on this young man ought to be humiliated for their actions. They instead responded by saying that our residents should never feel embarrassed or ashamed to call us. They were only reporting what they believed to be a suspicious circumstance when they did so. No harm, no foul.”

The police even spent one dollar on a bottle of root beer and sold Seth’s company by telling others about his endearing anecdote.
