One of the most enjoyable aspects of a wedding ceremony is the opportunity to bring all of your loved ones together.
Natalie Browning, a 24-year-old Virginian, was looking forward to marrying Cooper Browning, the love of her life, in June 2021. Natalie’s main disappointment on the big day came when she realized that her grandfather would be unable to attend.

Nelson May, her grandfather, is 94 years old and lives in Florida. He had a stroke just two weeks before Natalie’s wedding, rendering him unable to travel.
Natalie posted on Facebook, “My sweet grandpa was so delighted to dance with me at my wedding and was heartbroken when he found out two weeks before the wedding that medical difficulties prevented him from going.”
That’s when she decided to invite him to the wedding!

Natalie placed her wedding gown into a pink garment bag and bought a plane ticket from Virginia to Florida a month after her ceremonial wedding. She made a video of her 800-mile trek, which she eventually uploaded online. On the plane, she transforms into bridal mode, even completing her makeup at the airport, as shown in the video.
Natalie’s efforts were rewarded when she met up with her grandfather and shared a “first dance” in his living room.

Natalie stated, “He’d been so excited to dance with me on my wedding night for months, and I’m just so happy that I was able to give him that experience.” “It was a memorable day for me because I don’t get to see him very often.”
The trip meant a lot to them both, and Natalie would do it all over again simply to make him feel appreciated.
What a lovely way for her to express her love for her granddad. Natalie and Cooper, we congratulate you! In the video below, you can see the wonderful surprise.
