Lisa Marie Presley passed away unexpectedly in January, and Priscilla Presley is still inconsolable at her loss. After hearing that Lisa Marie had been rushed to a hospital in California, Priscilla told People, “It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. Since then, Priscilla has submitted court papers challenging the legitimacy of her daughter’s will. “[The signature] is inconsistent with [Lisa Marie Presley’s] typical and customary signature,” the court documents acquired by CNN read, in part.
Sources told Page Six in a follow-up article that Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough are “not talking” while the legal matters are resolved. “Indeed, their relationship is evolving, but it’s still so sad. Riley would really need her granny at this point “One insider informed the magazine this. While they wait for the outcome of the case, the two women seem to be concentrating on their own occupations. Fans are aware that Keough and her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, attended the “Daisy Jones & The Six” premiere for their new Amazon Prime Video limited TV series on February 24, but her grandmother wasn’t there to show her support. Priscilla and Keough may not get along, but that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to live her life. She has signed a contract to play a larger role in a new project as she advances in her own career.
