Elephants are sociable and very intelligent creatures. Unfortunately, many of these animals are abused and hunted. But at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, these majestic creatures can find safety and comfort among volunteers.
The relationship that has developed between these pachyderms and their caregivers is extraordinary, and we cannot help but be moved by this. Sangduen “Lek” Chailert, the founder of the “Save the Elephant” Foundation in Thailand, has a special relationship with an elephant named Faamai.
The two have an amazing relationship between a person and an elephant. Lek chases the flies away from Faamai and starts singing to them. But it’s not an ordinary song. It’s a lullaby. Faamai loves the attention Lek gives her and begins to relax for a restful sleep.
Right from the first chords, the elephant sits down quietly and listens to Lek sing to her ear in her soft, gentle voice. The elephant soon falls asleep, caressed and caressed by his caretaker.
It seems that elephants love musical chords. According to a study by the American Psychological Association, classical music is comforting for Asian elephants. When violinist Eleanor Bartsch’s orchestra dedicated a concert to elephants belonging to the Circus World Museum, everyone was amazed to see them sway to the music. Faamai not only feels comfortable but does something fantastic when lying down!
Watch the video below to see what happens as Lek continues to sing to Faamai as he lies on the ground.
Share the amazing interaction between Lek and Faamai and enjoy this adorable scene!
