They wanted to celebrate a bachelor party in the woods, but they ended up saving a dog and her 7 puppies.

Sometimes the greatest adventures in our lives can turn into unique opportunities to make remarkable gestures: how many times, by pure chance, have we beautified the day of a stranger by simply giving him a hint, advice, or help in a time of difficulty? The same is true for our animal friends: making a gesture of humanity when an animal is most in need can really make a big difference…

Mitchell Craddock is a man from Michigan who had decided to organize a truly unforgettable bachelor party: he had gathered his closest friends to celebrate that important moment in a forest near the town of Vickburg, where there is a house where they could cook, eat and spend unforgettable moments away from the eyes of the world. While they were having fun in the forest hut, a stray puppy named Annie stopped at their door, simply looking for something to eat.

The dog was visibly dehydrated and hungry, had no recognition medallion and no leash around his neck; in short, it looked like Annie had been abandoned there by someone a long time ago. But the surprise did not end here, for Annie wanted with all her might to draw the attention of Mitchell and his friends in the direction of a pit dug in the ground; Inside, the men were surprised to find no more and no less than seven puppies!

Fortunately, all of Annie’s puppies were fine, even if they needed a hot bath: sitting hidden in that hole in the ground for so long, they were all dirty, but that could be solved in a very short time; what began as a memorable outing for Mitchell’s bachelor party turned into a unique opportunity to save seven chicks and their mother in search of food.

And, like any self-respecting story with a happy ending, it has a more than positive side: Mitchell and his friends decided to adopt all eight dogs; the bride will host Annie at home, while Mitchell’s friends have adopted the seven puppies, giving them funny names: Knox, Bear, Daisy, Gunner, Brimmy, Finn and Rose!

Kristen, Mitchell’s wife, said: “They raised a lot of money to buy food and beer. After the third day, the beer funds became funds for the puppies’ food! ”

These people made an extraordinary gesture that deserves all the appreciation!
