The owner finds the dog after 200 days of desperate searches: the reunion between the two is overwhelming

If you have a pet at home or simply like these magnificent four-legged pals, you are well aware that even the smallest negative event in the life of an animal causes significant anguish for the person who cares for and loves it.

Consider the anguish of a guy who loses his devoted companion on all fours, not because he lives a better life, but because he goes away and becomes lost for whatever reason. As was the case with the story’s two central characters…

A stray dog named Blue had appeared at a stranger’s house in April 2020, asking for a safe place to sleep and eat; this dog had roamed aimlessly for days, looking for a good soul to help him; this dog had wandered aimlessly for days, looking for a decent soul to help him.

Blue was eventually cared for by the shelter volunteers, but they had to wait a few months in the kennel until they could find someone to adopt him because the shelter was closed to the public except for appointments because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

As a result, the shelter decided to broadcast a short video of Blue playing with a ball on its official Facebook page in an attempt to urge someone to adopt him; Fortunately, fate intended for his desperate master’s name to appear in the comments section of the post: “He’s my dog!”

The man had lost Blue in Tennessee, but had to relocate to Texas for work reasons after months of looking; he never imagined he would recover it by chance. It had been 200 days since he had gone missing, and the man was on the verge of resigning…

So the owner traveled 2,000 miles to the Washington shelter, showed some photos of Blue to persuade the volunteers that this was his dog, and then had an extremely emotional encounter: the dog immediately recognized himself. the master and the two embraced each other as if they were old friends!

The following is a video that the shelter shared on Facebook:

It’s wonderful that this dog and its owner have reunited after such a long separation!
